2017 Annual Conference - October 26-29, 2017

The 2017 conference is being hosted by the choir of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Perth Amboy, NJ in conjunction with the community's 100th anniversary and the Federation's 40th. The adult choir will sing the "Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom in the Fourth Plagal Mode (L401 "Opus IV") as arranged by Anna Gallos. The conference guest conductor is Nicholas Kyrus, choir director at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church in Falls Church, VA and the guest organist is Teodora Adzharova from Annunciation Cathedral in Baltimore, MD. Music and conductor were chosen by the federation membership at the 2015 conference in Norfolk, VA per the EFGOCM bylaws.

St. Demetrios 100th Anniversary Concert

In conjunction with this year's conference is the concert celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the St. Demetrios parish in Perth Amboy, NJ. On the Friday evening of our conference, The Arcadian Chorale, under the direction of Maestra Marina Alexander will present a musical tribute to the Great Martyr Demetrios. For those EFGOCM attendees, you are invited to participate with the Chorale at their Friday evening concert: The Oratorio St. Demetrius.
